Is the ATS resume checker really free?
Yes. Your first check runs without an account and shows your ATS score, a section-by-section breakdown and your three highest-impact fixes. The full report is unlocked with your email address.
What file types can I upload?
Text-based PDF, DOCX and image scans up to 5 MB. Avoid CVs saved as flattened images if you can — real applicant tracking systems struggle with them too, and that is part of what we measure.
How is the ATS score calculated?
Five weighted areas: parseability and formatting (25), hard-skill keywords (25), quantified impact (20), structure and dates (15) and experience progression (15).
Do you store my CV?
The file itself is not kept. We store the resulting report so you can unlock and re-open it, plus your email if you choose to unlock.
